Description

Hi guys!
This is a Lumina fanart!
Lumina is the first italian comic book founded with crowdfunding :)
LUMINA is a COMIC BOOK project midway between Sci-FI and Fantasy created by Linda Cavallini and Emanuele Tenderini.
Here is the indiegogo website, Lumina is available in three languages: French, English and Italian.

I'm so happy, Linda and Emanuele have realized their dream, IN ITALY, a Country where dreams in these years are not possible :)
Hope that you like my Kite fanart! :D It is a little romantic, I hope that much more dreams will become truth :)

This is a stunning image. I have always been fascinated with the aurora borealis and this image captures the magic that such lights display. I love how the artist blended the lights into the sky and while giving their due and making the bright blues, teals and green standout sharply again the muted dark blues and red of the night sky. The fact that there was care to add another color to the sky, such as red, really sell the image.

I love the composition of this piece; the focus is on the aurora borealis but the trail of it leads you to the figure standing and watching those beautiful lights. The lighting on the figure is topnotch and I really love the texture of the mountain he is standing out; it makes it look like there is ice lining part of it, selling the frigid cold of frozen tundra in this setting without using the standard blues and white of ice. Really fantastic work, almost dream like. Great painting!
